VTC Visual Terminal Chart for VFR planning in Australia, Flying Charts including WAC, ERC Low,TAC, VNC and Pilot supplies onlne here.

This aeronautical chart is traditionally what visual flight rules (VFR) pilots use to navigate around major cities and towns. However, it is also a very useful planning tool for RPAS (drone) pilots as such maps show you controlled airspace, aerodromes and restricted areas. The aeronautical information on Sectional Charts includes visual and radio aids to navigation, airports, controlled airspace, restricted areas, obstructions, and related data. These charts are updated every six months, most Alaska Charts annually. Separate indices show the coverage of VFR Charts ( Conterminous U.S. and Alaska ). In some cases, these charts show the details of tracks to be flown and significant landmarks which are used by pilots of VFR aircraft to avoid inadvertent penetration of controlled airspaces. Each digital-Visual Chart is provided in one TIF file. The files are 300 dots per inch and 8-bit color. The files are 300 dots per inch and 8-bit color. The product is provided as a GeoTIFF and is available for public viewing from this website. Like the VFR sectional charts that they complement, terminal area charts depict topographic features and other information of interest to aviators flying visually, including major landmarks, terrain elevations, visual navigation routes, ground-based navigation aids, airports, rivers, cities, and airspace boundaries. TACs are more detailed than sectional charts, and are scaled at 1:250,000 (as opposed to 1:500,000 for sectional charts) to permit inclusion of more detail. Visual Terminal Charts (VTCs) (scale 1:250,000) are designed for visual operations near terminal areas. They contain some topographical detail and appropriate airspace, radio communication and navigation aid information.
